Meeting People Where They Are

The Outreach & Inreach Program at Homeless Services of Aroostook is designed to support individuals who are unsheltered and may not be ready or able to enter traditional shelter settings. This program provides immediate, low-barrier access to essential services while building trust and connection.

What We Provide

• Meals & Basic Needs -  Access to meals and essential supplies to support day-to-day stability.
• Hygiene Services - Showers and laundry facilities to promote health, comfort, and dignity.
• Supportive Engagement - A welcoming, non-judgmental point of contact for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Our Impact

This program helps bridge critical service gaps by meeting individuals where they are—both physically and emotionally. Through consistent engagement, we build trust and connect participants to community resources, case management, and pathways toward stable housing and long-term support.
